Interpreting

With over 20 years of experience, we provide simultaneous, consecutive, and liaison interpreting for a wide range of events, including international conferences, high-level forums, site visits, and assemblies. Our expertise covers diverse sectors such as food systems, energy transition, heritage management, technology, healthcare, and gastronomy.

We work in close partnership with event organisers to ensure thorough preparation at every stage. We also provide technical consultancy and can arrange the necessary equipment, including portable sound systems.

In addition to on-site services, we have expanded our services to include remote simultaneous interpreting via platforms such as Zoom and Teams.

Not only is interpreting a challenge that we relish, but it is also a unique opportunity to facilitate a meaningful exchange of ideas and knowledge.

Translation

We find translation particularly rewarding for its creative dimension and the opportunity it offers to explore specialised fields in depth. One of our areas of particular interest is the arts, where we work on photography catalogues, publications for cultural and heritage institutions, and theatre texts, among others. We also handle more technical content, including expert reports and analyses on food systems, the green transition, European regulations (covering emissions, transport and food), as well as new technologies.

As sworn translators, we support both institutional and private clients by translating a wide range of official documentation, including financial statements, contracts, notarial deeds, legal documents (such as judgments and arbitration awards), as well as academic and civil documentation. We recognize that every document demands a different lens. While our creative work is defined by its contextual resonance and cultural nuance, our technical and legal translations are governed by an uncompromising need for rigor and absolute accuracy. By adapting our approach to the specific nature of each project, we ensure that your message is exactly as intended.

Leticia

Raised in a Spanish-French family and educated at the universities of Granada, Aix-en- Provence, and Newcastle, I have built a diverse career as a translator and interpreter. My experience spans roles within private international institutions, a lectureship in interpreting at the University of Granada, and extensive freelance work. At inBoca, I value the collaborative spirit and the opportunity to engage with a vast array of truly fascinating subjects. For me, interpreting is a front-row seat to professional exchange, where the priority is a natural flow of communication guided by nuance and gesture. Written translation, on the other hand, allows me to adopt the perspective of both the reader and the writer to ensure no meaning is lost. I feel fortunate to work so closely with our clients and to grow, personally and professionally, alongside their evolving projects.

Dolores

After graduating in Translation and Interpreting in 2004 from the universities of Granada, Aix- Marseilles, and Liverpool John Moores, I co-founded inBoca in 2007. Since its inception, I have shared this journey with Leticia and, more recently, Álvaro. Balancing the roles of translator, interpreter, and manager has given me a comprehensive understanding of our profession, something which remains as motivating to me now as it was on day one.I am fascinated by the continuous learning that comes with such a diverse range of subjects, yet it is the human element that defines my approach and underpins everything we do here at inBoca. I am driven by working with curious, committed people - clients and colleagues alike - who are behind meaningful initiatives. Building relationships with clients and being able to contribute to their projects is a genuine privilege.

Álvaro

My path into translation has been anything but linear. My initial academic foray into the field began in the University of Vigo, before moving to Granada to explore comparative literature in more depth. This gave me a renewed passion and the fresh perspective needed to complete a Master’s in Professional Translation in 2023. I have been part of the inBoca team since 2021, serving as a translator, proofreader and project manager. This trajectory has taught me the value of diverse paths and the richness that comes from engaging with different people, cultures and ideas. I enjoy the meticulous precision of proofreading as much as the broader strategic oversight required in project management. My goal is always to ensure that the final result acts as a clear and effective bridge between languages, contexts and people.
